For some reason, I see Bowie in this pic, not Ziggy. The facial expression he has in this picture conveys a mortal sense of pain rather than the dramatic outpourings of a space messiah telling us human beings about the end of the world. There’s more of a naivete to it than the kind of mixture of otherworldly gracefulness and impishness that Ziggy has been known for.
